...slept in till 9 am. Ridiculous! I am lucky to get major leeway on audition days.
...coffee, no food as I like to sing on an empty stomach.
...sat downstairs with the girls as they played with their new dollhouse given to them by a family friend who's outgrown it.
...drove to my audition out by the airport. It went well, but there were a lot of other very talented girls there. Talent doesn't mean you get the job. There is way more talent than there are jobs. That's the truth of show business. Still, I'm happy I did my best. That's all I can do.
...came home for a quick lunch, then off to a photoshoot at Riverdale Farm. Two cuties and their mama. I shot this one outside the farm before we even started. Peek a boo is great for photographers:

...home to make dinner. Pan fried salmon and stove top mac and white cheddar. You gotta serve one get them to eat the other. Leftover birthday cake for dessert didn't hurt either.
...Audrey cried for 20 minutes over a little scratch on her leg. Seriously. 20. minutes. One can only comfort for so long.
... Children to bed, husband watching Mad Men, me blogging. Night, night not far away.
