Yesterday was the debut of the new issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today-- available for free download here. I had an absolute blast working on this issue. Here are two of my layouts:
Remember these photos that Heather took? This layout came from 35 years, 11 months blog post
that I did a while back. Although I couldn't fit all the journaling onto the layout, I think I got the sentiment across. (That's the great thing about blogging-- you can write as much as you like!)
The other layout is about going to Bonjour Brioche with the girls-- also from a blog post:
I thought the colours and shapes here had a very Provencal feel-- perfect with the tablecloths at Bonjour Brioche!

The kitchen is about 80% done now, I'd say. It is beautiful and we just love it. As a matter of fact, I am sitting at our new island as I write this. The girls already love sitting on the bar stools to eat. I fed them pancakes and juice, then cleared the dishes right into the dishwasher under the counter. Here are a few pics:
I can already tell that you are going to so be loving that new kitchen, the island is great. LOVE the layouts.
